4-14-2004The user/client information form has been completely rewritten beyond the last update. The form now supports verification of required fields. It also allows for requested but optional, not included in form, internal use, user viewable, and internal use, user hidden fields. Each field can be set to any of the above condition. The form loops back and displays just submitted information alongside highlighted error messages explaining what was incorrectly filled out. Anonymous/non-anonymous new user/client feature still in place.Morgan Miller
3-30-2004I have rewritten and expanded the user database to fully incorporate the "New Client" form for the Vet CMS. I will continue to search for bugs, but I think the major hurdles are over. Next will be the "New Patient" form.Morgan Miller
3-18-2004Have continued to add support for transparency among the different frames and tables.Morgan Miller
2-11-2004Modified the site_admin.php script at the bottom to generate PNG images instead of JPGs for the tab images. This allowed for image backgrounds to work better by setting a transparent color for the tab background.Morgan Miller
2-10-2004Updated the site administrative control panel to permit backgrounds within the tables of page "frames".Morgan Miller
2-5-2004The login script has been modified to encrypt the user's password immediately prior to sending it across an internet connection. This explains the password field entry changing to a longer length after clicking the "submit" button on the login page. Although sending plain-text passwords across the internet was not considered an immediate danger to security of the website, it was felt that this was a pre-emptive step for ensuring future data and website security.Morgan Miller
2-3-2004Have you ever wanted to tell a website's designer what the site needed or let them know if there's a bad link? With the newly added "Feature Request / Bug Report" page, you can tell me what you want or what's wrong.Morgan Miller
1-27-2004Added a page counter script that will allow the site officer(s)/administrator(s) to view what pages are visited most often and what variables are being passed to those pages. Once a results page is written to process this script's database information, it will allow for analysis of page popularity and where to focus future development efforts.Morgan Miller
1-4-2004Am partway through coding for borders around each component of the webpage (header, menu, etc.). Still need to modify code to display background colors.Morgan Miller
12-27-2003Been wanting to allow the the ability to change the bullets of the menu items. Between an hour of coding at 4am this morning and 15 minutes just now at 8:30pm, 'tis done (for now at least...).Morgan Miller
12-26-2003Revised side-panel "current poll" code so that null votes are not possible.Morgan Miller
12-25-2003Merry Christmas! Have made great progress on adding "secret question and answer" option for retrieving username and password to the website. The layout and asthetics look terrible, but will work on that later.Morgan Miller
12-9-2003Added the "Latest Photos" box to the side panel. Working on adding feature to allow site users to retrieve passwords on-screen and not having to have it e-mailed to them.Morgan Miller
12-8-2003Added the Current Poll and Announcements to the side panel. Fixed the side panel poll to stop messing up with logging in and out.Morgan Miller
11-22-2003Added feature to allow site admin to place login script elsewhere on the page. Separated authentication and login scripts to do so.Morgan Miller
11-18-2003Updated the Announcements, Links, and Officers pages to reflect the new "tabbed" template.Morgan Miller
8-11-2003Have made a *bunch* of changes. Most notably to the read/write permissions to individual pages and page viewability in the menu based on those permissions. Have added a chatroom, which was the most fun to write of anything since the last post. Officers and administrators have instant page edit capabilities from menu (really nice feature).Morgan Miller
6-20-2003Revised the message board. Cleaned up the code, added improper message reporting, administrative features, and heirarchial listing of messages.Morgan Miller
4-12-2003Updated the GUI html editor in the page administration section of the website. Allows individuals to create html pages on the server from the browser and not having the know HTML code or upload a HTML document to the server.Morgan Miller
